Very fun game, it has loads of fun and challenging game modes. personal favourite is last man standing. highly recommended. has great multiplayer and I enjoy that it has full controller support.. I found this game by going to a friends house and playing it on their Xbox and I loved it. I went home and saw it on steam and thought about it for a couple of weeks, bought it and the DLC with the intent of playing it with a bunch of my friends and found out it dosent support Steam controllers. I then went and found a steam controller configuration that made it so i could play the game, but the game its self dosent support analog sticks making it so i can only attack/shoot/move in 8 direction while the AI has full mobility and an unfair advantage due to the fact that the player has 8 set directions and the AI isnt limited like the player is.Untill this problem is fixed its going to be a bad review...... I bought this with 3 more friends and we played it once for 30 minutes. To my disappointment, none of them wanted to play it again. I was the only one who played it with a controller, which is probably very telling.There's a combination of factors why this game was a huge letdown, I believe. From what I remember:* The controls are terrible with a keyboard. There's no mouse support, you can only aim in 4 directions (while gamepad users can aim in arbitrary direction, having a huge advantage), the default button layout doesn't work on ordinary keyboards (due to limitation how many buttons can be pressed from a certain keyboard area block). I was expecting something that feels like Bomberman and this feels much, much clunkier.* You can't assign an arbitrary number of bots to your game. You either get a full squad (8 players, so e.g. 3 players and 5 bots), or you get no bots (and this option is extremely well hidden, I had to google to figure out how to do it - and I already forgot it). This means either this game is no fun because there are way too many bots and way too few human players, or that the game is no fun because there are too few players overall, and/or an even number of them (e.g. three). I really can't understand why I can't add one bot to 3 players so that it's 2 vs 2. It's also not possible in team vs team games to have e.g. 3 players against 5 bots, etc.* There are no player names, just colors, which means you have no idea who is who (and who is even real and who is a bot). Which again destroys all fun.I was looking forward very much to this game, and at least in my experience, it's been a big failure.. Excellent Party Game! Fast and furious fun, even with a set of bots. A huge amount of modes and maps with a decent amount of items couples with the short, rapid fire matches to keep it lots of fun on an extended basis while also being great for short bursts of play. I got mine at a very deep discount via winter sale, and it's a bit more subjective I think what it's worth if you're paying more than the couple bucks I did, but I'd say even 10 bucks would be quite fair, and at a deep cuts markdown, definitely pick this one up, ESPECIALLY if you know you'll see a lot of use for party games. I'd definitely take this over most of it's competition in the genre... maybe one or two peers on Steam I'd pick first, nothing I can think of even on consoles like the Switch.. Another local multiplayer game that is a hoot. One of the few games where you can go more than 4 if you've got the controllers. Not deep, but pure action goodness allowing you ample opportunity to smack talk and curse your friends and family.. Game is fun in multiplayer, too bad no one is playing right now. Challeneges are unfair- trial and error type. Controller is a must, do not even think about using keyboard. You get different colored knights but waste of potential there - they could have used some RPG elements to those knights.Try it if you get it on bundle like i did otherwise stay away from it. You get 4/8 card drops and other 4 you can buy for under 25 cents..
